The ROS Planning System: Evolution, Basic Concepts, and Research Needed

Most of this article was translatd from Leisure seience vol. 9 no.3 201-212 which described the evolution of the conception of the Recreation Opportunity Spectrum (ROS) and its tenets. It is used by USDA Forest service and USDI Bureau of Land Management for a resource planning system. Whether it is possible to adopt the framework and transform it in to operating systems in Taiwan is described in this article.
