摘要

本文針對在傳統父權體制社會下，與性別角色有關之婦女參與（或從事）休閒的阻礙因子進行剖析。分析發現，阻礙婦女休閒參與之諸多因子中的「照料他人的責任感」、「未被賦予休閒權利之感」、以及「健康與安全上的顧慮」等因子，都與女性在傳統父權社會中的受壓迫與剝削地位有關。而諸如此類之婦女參與休閒的阻礙，多半是由於受到「以男性爲中心的社會權力結構」之影響所產生。傳統父系社會中僵化的價值觀，所付諸於女性的角色、義務、與責任等都明顯對休閒參與有極負面的影響。本文最後呼籲：如果休閒的價值與功能值得肯定、如果我們相信休閒是人的基本權利，那麼我們的社會使應摒棄既存之偏頗與僵化的價值觀、剷除所有弱勢族群參與休閒的障礙，使人人得以充分享受美好的休閒經驗。

The purpose of this study is to analyze the constraints on women's leisure in traditional patriarchal society. This study has shown why the ethic of care, sense of a lack of entit1ement to leisure, and health and safety concerns are constraints particularly unique to women's leisure. These constraints are believed to be covert in nature and are closely related to traditional women's gender-role obligations. Finally, it is suggested that if we are to believe that leisure is important to all of us and is a basic human right, we must pledge that everyone is allowed to ensure the quality of life through leisure regardless of gender, race, c1ass, age, or any other life situation which has been previously been ignored in the dominant culture.
