精神分裂病患者的空間關系概念與工作能力間之關係

摘要

在職業復健和諮詢之前，明尼蘇達空間關係測驗可用於評估慢性精神病患的空間關系能力，以爲職業諮詢或雇員甄選的參攷。本研究旨在探討精神分裂病患者之判斷空間關系的能力、雙手組合功能、及工作能力三者間的關係，以及精神分裂病患者與常模組在空間關係上的差異性。研究期間從民國72年4月至74年6月。研究對象爲台北主市立療養院住院及日間留院病患經醫囑轉介接受職能治療，診斷爲精神分裂病，年齡20-49歲，教育程度爲國中或以上者，共110位，依其參與職能治療之活動項目，再分爲電子組合組、紙雕組、木工組等三組。
研究結果顯示：(1)三組病患在空間關係測驗上得分與在普渡手功能測驗之組合分項上成績，在統計上呈顯著相關。(2)電子組合組病患在普渡手功能測驗之組合分項成績與其電子組合生産量，在統計上顯著相關，而空間關係測驗得分與電子組合生産量沒有相關。(3)紙雕及木工組病患之判斷空間關係速度與實際從事工作時之責任感、理解力、技巧、細動作協調、工作行爲類總分，在統計上呈顯著相關。(4)上述二組在判斷空間關係精確度與實際工作時之理解力、技巧，在統計上呈顯著相關，普渡手功能測驗之組合分項成績與細動作協調在統計上呈顯著相關。(5)此三組病患彼此在空間關係測驗上並無顯著差異，但與常模組做比較時，所有精神分裂患者均與常模組呈顯著差異。

The Minnesota Spatial Relations Test (MSRT) may be used in employee Selection and placement for jobs that require proficiency in the visualization and manipulation of three-dimensional objects. Prior to vocational rehabilitation and counseling, psychotic patients could be assessed by means of MSRT as part of a comprehensive aptitudes survey. The purposes of this study were undertaken to investigate the relationship among the spatial relations abilities, assembly function and work abilities of schizophrenics, as well as the differences of spatial relations abilities between schizophrenic and norm groups.
One hundred and ten schizophrenics between 21 and 49 years of age, above junior high school, hospitalized at Taipei City Psychiatric Center from April l, 1983 to June 31, 1985, who were referred to occupational therapists by psychiatrists, were the subjects. They were divided into the electronic assembly group, the paper-sculpture group and the woodworking group.
Results of this study indicated that there were high correlations between the MSRT scores and assembly scores of the Purdue Pegboard Manual Test (PPMT) among schizophrenic subjects. There were high correlations between the amount of electronic assembly productions and assembly scores of the PPMT, but no correlation was found between the amount of electronic assembly productions and the MSRT scores within the electronic assembly group. There were high correlations between the MSRT scores and scores of task behaviors within the paper-sculpture group and the woodworking group. AS to the velocity scores of the MSRT, no significant differences among all schizophrenic subjects, but significant differences between schizophrenic and norm groups were found.
