No Man's Land
Bunnell's definition of No-Man's-Land is ”The area which is from distal palmar crease of hand to the proximal interphalangeal joints”. Flexor digitorum sublimis and profundus are both packed with tendon sheath in this area and makes surgery difficult. The rehabilitation programs must be careful and should be based on the physiological and histological mechanisms. Good hand surgery followed a step-by-step treatment program and patient's cooperation were the vital factors for the successful outcome. The literature review and a case report are presented in this article.
