物理治療儀器使用的問卷調查

A Questionnaire Survey on Modality Utilization

摘要


本研究的目的在瞭解目前復健科物理治療部門的治療儀器使用狀況,採問卷調查方式,調查有關治療儀器之設備,使用情況,與他們對儀器治療方面的意見。問卷調查對象為臺灣省27家各縣市各類型醫院復健部門的醫師與物理治療師。 於本研究中,物理治療設備分成三大類:(一)熱療儀器(二)電療儀器(三)運動治療輔助器。每大類各含五個單項治療儀器。就各單項,以問卷方式分別調查:(一)設備之有與(二)填購之需要(三)使用情況(四)病人滿意度(五)醫療人員的意見(六)病人居家使用治療儀器之狀況。 調查結果顯示:短波,幹擾波,牽引是目前調查醫院物理治療部門使用最多的治療儀器,原因為:此是某些分類病患的適應症,且此類病患的數目最多。另外,利用率低的治療儀器有:微波、功能性電刺激與肌電迴饋器。微波使用率低的原因為有其他種機器可以代替,而功能性電刺激與肌電迴饋器則是由於治療效果不好,與操作使用上的不方便。 本研究並無包括所有的物理治療儀器,如熱敷、臘療等需要較簡單設備,但使用卻十分普偏的治療,而一些最近才被採用,但尚不普及的治療儀器如低能雷射,與微電流治療亦不在本研究的項目,尚須經過一些時日,才能考驗其使用率。

This is a survey about modality utilization in physical therapy. And is based on a questionnaire answered by 47 doctors and 134 physical therapists in 27 hospitals in the Taiwan area. Fifteen kinds of modalities used in the department of physical theraphy were included in this survey. According to their physical principles, they were divided into three major categories, and there were 5 items for each category: (A) thermal agents: short wave, microwave, ultrasound, whirlpool, infrared. (B) electrical therapies: (527, interference, TENS, functional electrical stimulation, EMG biofeedback. (C) exercise machines: isokinetic exercise machine, bicycle, treadmill, resistive exercise machine, N-K table. Questions listed in the questionnaires included: professional background, facility, equipment, status of modality utilization, patient's satisfaction and professional suggestion. The results of this survey showed that shortwave, interference and traction were the modalities most frequently been used in physical therapy department. The medical indications, and the numbers of patient who need the therapies may explain these results. However, there were also some modalities that were rarely been used, such as microwave, functional electrical stimulation and EMG biofeedback. Modalities substitution for microwave, the unsatisfactory therapeutic effects of EMG biofeedback and the problems in application of functional electrical stimulation were the underlying causes. However, some simple modalities such as hot pack and paraffin, or, certain new products such as low energy laser and micro currents were not investigated.
