Primary Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Liver Mimicking Liver Abscess: Report of a Case
原發性肝臟鱗狀上皮細胞癌類似肝膿瘍表現：一病例報告
摘要
原發性肝臟鱗狀上皮細胞癌極為少見，在文獻之中僅有二十四個病例被報告過。在此，我們提出一個七十歲的女性以右上腹痛及發燒表現的病例。一般而言，要診斷出這個腫瘤很困難，而且預後極差。外科手術切除術是較有可能得到治癒的選擇。

Primary hepatic squamous cell carcinoma is extremely rare, and only 24 cases have been sporadically reported in literature. We present here a case of primary hepatic squamous cell carcinoma in a 70-year-old female who had right upper quadrant pain and fever. In general, clinical diagnosis of this tumor is difficult and it has a very poor prognosis. Surgical excision might be a good treatment choice and offer hope for long-term survival.
