摘要

《顏氏家訓》是顏之推從治家的男性角度談對女性成家後的期待，書中不乏真知灼見與獨排眾議的觀點，對現代女性重新省思傳統價值及結婚成家對女性的束縛與可能的自由確實深具啟發。本文從女性成家在家庭教育扮演的母職以何為本問題澄清談起，尤其是〈後娶〉與〈治家〉兩個篇章更是藉由女性在家庭形象與角色的描繪，生動活潑且具體指出男性希望女性在家庭和諧扮演至關重要為婦輔夫治家、為母佐父教子的角色，女性成家透過母職多元面貌的展現，更可以在日常生活中以身以行具體而微教導子女自由與束縛兩者並與的重要性。

”Yan Shi Jia Xun (The Family Counsels of Mr. Yan)” is Yan Zhi Tui's expectation about the role of a married woman in family from the perspective of a man. In his book, we can find some insights and extraordinary views, which are highly inspiring to a modem woman in rethinking the traditional family values as well as the possible bondage and liberty of a married woman. This article first discusses the foundation of the role of the mother in family education, as the chapters of ”Houqu” (”Re-marriage”) and ”Zhijia” (”Governing a Family”) points out graphically and concretely what roles men expect women to play in a harmonious family: helping the husband as his wife and help the father to teach children as their mother. Through the multiple dimensions of the role of the mother, a woman can embody and practice in everyday life the importance of balancing between liberty and bondage.
