海洋結構物在陰極保護下鈣質沈積的特性

摘要


鈣質沈積通常會在陰極保護的海水結構物上沈澱,而減少要達保護電位所需的電流密度。但有些因素如電壓/電流/時間的應用、溫度、海水流量、海水化學性質和金屬表面情況都會影響這沈積的保護性質。本篇文章則在了解這些因素在物理或化學方面的變化對鈣質沈積的影響。

Calcareous deposits are usually formed on cathodically protected steel surface in sea water, and their importance in reducing the current requirement to maintain adeguate protection is generally recognized. Numerous factors may influence the properties and protective nature of calcareous deposits, such as potential/current/time. temperatwe, flow rate, sea water chemistry and metal swface condition. The present paper reviews these factors, which are pertinent to occurrence of calcareous deposits, how physical and chemical variations of sea water might be expected to alter the nature of these surface films.
