2024鋁合金無電鍍鎳與刷鍍鎳之耐蝕及導電性能研究

The Study of Corrosion and Conductivity of 2024 Aluminum Treated by Electroless Nickel Plating and Brush Nickel Plating

摘要


2024鋁合金為空用軍事裝備常用材料之一,惟其耐蝕性較差,一般需作適當之防蝕處理。此外,為配合某些特殊需要,表面處理必須兼具導電功能。本研究即探討2024鋁合金表面分別經刷鍍鎳與無電鍍鎳兩種方法處理後之耐蝕及導電性能,並對兩種不同方法所得的結果予以比較分析。文中利用孔隙度測試、附著力測試、導電度測試、鹽霧試驗及SEM表面觀察等進行鋁合金表面性質之分析與性能評估。由研究結果顯示,2024鋁合金使用刷鍍鎳總同或無電鍍鎳予以表面改質,其附著力均佳,電阻值亦皆小於2.5mΩ,符合XX計畫需求規格。而其主要差異為鋁合金試片經無電鍍鎳處理,鍍層較為緻密,孔隙度較小,耐蝕性能較佳;反之,鋁合金試片表面刷鍍鎳/銅,鍍層之孔隙度較大,因此其耐蝕性能較差,惟其鹽霧試驗仍能通過48小時。

2024 aluminum is a popular material for the use of military equipment and need proper surface modification to improve its corrosion resistance. For specific requirement, the surface modification must have good electrical conductivity as well. This paper studied on the corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity of nickel deposition by different surface modification methods-brush plating and electroless plating. By comparing the characteristic of nickel deposition by the tests of porosity, adhesion, electricity, salt spray, the results show that the electroless nickel plating deposition on 2024 aluminum alloy have better adhesion and the conductivity is less than 2.5 mΩ, conform to the specification of XX project; On the other hand, the deposition by brush plating have bad corrosion resistance because of its porosity. However the time of salt spray test for brush plating specimens are still over 48 hours.
