高齡者長期照護機構寢室使用行為調查研究－以高雄地區13家護理之家為例

摘要

長期照護機構是高齡者老後除了家庭以外另一個主要生活場所。由於護理之家主要入居對象多數為日常生活需人協助、長期臥病在床的患者，一天二十四小時中待在寢室的時間相當長，日常生活行為也都集中在寢室進行。因此寢室空間規劃的完善與否，對高齡者在長期照護機構的生活品質的有重要的影響。
日常生活動作能力是影響高齡者在長期照護機構中日常生活行為操作的重要指標之一。本研究從高齡者身心機能狀況出發，以高雄地區13家護理之家為調查對象，分析並探討高齡者在護理之家中飲食、排泄、清潔、儲物、休閒等五項日常生活行為進行的方式、場所，歸納出不同身心機能状況的高齡者的日常生活行為特徵與對寢室空間使用的問題。最後從安全性、舒適性、私密性、便利性、照護方便性等五個軸向，建構考量高齡者和照護者需求的人性化寢室空間規劃與設計要點。

Except family, the long-term care facility is an important living place for the elderly in old days. However, the majority of long term care facility are bed-bound and need others to help in daily living. They are long enough to stay in bedroom and most of the daily living behaviors are occurred in bedroom. Hence, the good or bad in bedroom spatial design is the main factor to influence the quality of life of the elderly in long term care facility.
The ability of ADL (Activity of Daily Living)is an important factor to influence the behavior performance of the elderly in long term care facility. By the view of ADL, we occurred a case-study of thirteen nursing homes in Kaoshiung area, analyzed the way, place and characteristics of dining, excreting, cleaning, storage and recreation, to find the characteristics of daily living and need toward bedroom space of the elderly in different ADL. Finally, by the view of Environment-Behavior we established the bedroom spatial design elements for the elderly and caregiver from the view of safety, amenity, privacy, convenience and easy to care.
