In this article, the author using what he observed from Japan & America's traffic situation to compare what different management thinking between Japan & America for traing his people to follow the traffic rule. What American believe is ”People follow the traffic rule is because traffic policeman always watch anywhere. So what American did is trying to hire more policemen to keep good traffic order”. But what Japanese think is ”Traffic policeman could not make people to follow the traffic rule all the time, but the training to the people to follow the traffic rule , then the people will have the habit to follow the traffic rule is the most correct way!” Author reflect the management thinking of traffic between Japan & America also applied to Quality control of manufacturing & service. What American believe is needing traffic policeman (QC Personnel) to control the quality of product. But what Japanese believe is everyone is QC personnel. Everyone shall be trained as good QC personnel to keep good Quality of product. So Japan companies will use much more less QC personnel than America companies. Another point views in this article is ”Japanese is one of the most well-know people who really knew how to learn. ”Japan not only learned from China's Tang-Dynasty is so successful, they also well learn from west from the beginning of 20 century & keep moving his leading edge till now in the world. We Chinese shall copy the learn culture from Japan's successful experience. Catch the learning spirits like what Japanese did before. Then we will have more chance to be so successful like Japanese. This is the most valuable portion of this article & what this article try to tell the readers.
