局部分次輻射與艾灸對罹患腫瘤小白鼠的影響

Effects of Fractionated Irradiation and Moxibustion on Mice with Tumors

摘要


本研究目的在評估局部分次輻射與艾灸單獨或合併處理,封罹患腫瘤小白鼠的影響,選用ICR種系雄性小白鼠,先將歐立氏腹水癌(10^7)接種在小白鼠之股部皮下,約七天左右,俟腫瘤體積長至0.45±0.2立方公分時,予以逢機分組處理。測定各組且動物的體重、腫瘤大小,以及在120天內小白鼠的死亡率、腫瘤控制率及平均存活時間等。 本研究結果顯示:在艾灸時溫度分佈方面,灸完最後一壯(約第10壯)時,整個腫瘤所測得的溫度達最高,腫瘤表面下2mm處爲63±3.4℃及腫瘤表面下10mm處爲45±2.5℃,其周圍正常組織的溫度爲37±1.6℃;在療效方面,以直接艾灸3次及2次處理者療效較佳,腫瘤控制率均爲100%,無死亡率,平均存活時問均爲120天,其次爲艾灸1次與輻射10次合併處理者,亦可完全控制腫瘤生長,死亡率僅9%,平均存活時間117.7天。 由本研究結果得知艾灸具有高溫、及增強放療而達到治癌的目的。

This study investigates the therapeutic effects of fractionated irradiation (RT) and moxibustion (MT) on ICR-strain male mice with tumors. Ehrlich ascites tumor cells (10) were implanted into the subcutaneous tissue of thigh area. When the volume of the tumor grew up to 0.45±0.2cm^3 in subcutaneous tumor of mice, animals with tumors were divided into many groups. The experimental groups were treated with RT or/and MT. Changes of temperature in the tumor and normal tissue surrounding tumor were measured by thermal probe during moxibustion treatment. The body weight, tumor size, mortality rate (MR), tumor control rate (TCR) and mean survival time (MST) within 120 days in each group of mice after treatment were measured. The results revealed that the temperature in tumors under 2,10 mm from surface were 63±3.4℃ and 45±2.5℃ respectively and the temperature in normal tissue around tumor was 37℃ during moxibustion treatment. The results showed that the best therapeutic effect in single treatment was the group treated with direct moxibustion (DM) in 2 or 3 fractions. The TCR, MR and MST in these groups were 100%, 0% and 120 days respectively. Good therapeutic effect was also observed in the group treated with a combination of DM (1) and RT. The TCR, MR and MST in this group were 100%, 9% and 117.7 days respectively. The results of this experiment show that the effect of MT with hyperthermia can enhance radiation in tumor treatment.
