摘要

基底核鈣化最可能因生理過程引起，但是廣泛性的腦內鈣化則常因病理上的變化所造成。這種病理上的腦內鈣化特別容易在各種副甲狀腺功能低下時發現，其中以手術後副甲狀腺功能低下症較爲少見。
一位64歲女性，30年前接受甲狀腺切除術後就產生副甲狀腺功能低下症。病人一直有反覆發作之典型低血鈣症狀。腦部電腦斷層掃描顯示廣泛性對稱性的腦內鈣化，涉及基底核、小腦齒核和側腦室旁之白質。

We report the CT findings in a 64-year-old women with 30-year history of hypoparathyroidism after thyroidectomy. She had recurrent episodes of tetany with carpopedal spasm and facial twitch related to hypocalcemia. On CT, there were symmetric calcifications in the basal ganglia and dentate nuclei and asymmetric calcified densities in the paraventricular areas and corona radiata.
