應用核磁共振法測定穀物含水率之研究

Application of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Method on the Determination of Grain Moisture Content

摘要


本研究中以核磁共振(NMR)之FID訊號進行穀物的含水率量測分析,分別對六個品種的稻穀以及高粱、慧仁與小米進行實驗。實驗結果顯示六個品種稻穀之含水率檢量線均具有高的線性關係,其決定係數(RZ)都在0.995以上,所測得之含水率相對於標準烤箱法的含水率平均絕對誤差介於0.35~0.55%之間。不同品種稻穀的含水率測定,應採用個別的檢量線推估稻穀的含水率以降低量測誤差。核磁共振法亦適用於高粱、蒼仁以及小米的含水率測定,實驗中所量測含水率的平均絕對誤差依序分別為0.41±0.22%、0.58±0.10%、0.83±0.46%。相較於電阻式水份計及單粒式水份計所測定之含水率,核磁共振法的測定誤差相對較低且不受含水率量測範圍的限制。以稻穀進行核磁共振法量測含水率時,所需要最少的樣本量為4~5顆稻穀即可進行測定,而慧仁則可以司進行單粒的含水率測定。

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) FID signal was applied for the determination of moisture content of selected grains in this research. Experiments were performed to measure the moisture content of six varieties of rough rice, sorghum, adlay and millet. Experimental results showed that the calibrations of FID signal versus moisture content were highly linear with all values of coefficient of determination (R2) greater than 0.995. Compared to the standard oven method, the average measurement errors of moisture content for the six varieties of rough rice ranged from 0.35 to 0.55%. It is desirable that specific calibration should be used for the corresponding variety of rough rice in order to reduce the measurement error. The NMR method was also applicable for moisture content measureçment of sorghum, adlay and millet. The average measurement errors were 0.41±0.22%, 0.58±0.10% and 0.83±0.46%, respectively. In comparison to the resistance-type moisture meter and single kernel moisture meter, the NMR method was more accurate and less restrictive to the range of grain moisture content. The minimum sample quantity required to obtain acceptable measurement accuracy of moisture content for rough rice was about 4~5 kernels. For grains with larger size such as adlay, single kernel moisture content determination was achieved.
