Photoluminescent Polyester Fiber Development

摘要


稀土鋁酸鹽類發光材料可經由光能激發,並在暗處發射出較長波長的光能,此材料的發光特性將可應用在紡織領域上。此研究探討不同的分散劑濃度及發光粉體濃度,對發光纖維之成型性的影響。當分散劑濃度為2%,發光粉體濃度為20%,母粒的壓升差將維持在2bar以下,達到良好的粉體分散情形。以熔融紡絲法製作成芯鞘型纖維,發光強度可達106mcd/m^2,平均纖維強度為l.7lg/d,伸度為45%。

Alkaline earth metal type of aluminate luminescent material can be excited by the energy of the light in the environment, and emitted the long-wavelength light in the darkness . The luminescent material can be applied to the textile fields. This study is to investigate the effect of the formability of the photoluminescent fibers by varying the concentration of the dispersing agent and the luminescent pigment in the master batch. The results show that the 2% dispersing agent concentration and the 20% luminescent pigment concentration can maintain the difference of pressure below 2bar and the luminescent pigment become the better dispersing condition. The photoluminescent sheath-core fiber, made by melt-spinning, shows the luminous intensity will reach 106mcd/m^2. The average tenacity of the luminescent fiber will reach 1.71g/d and the elongation is 45%.
