中文版RSOM-31鼻及鼻竇炎評估量表的信度與效度

Validation of the Chinese Version of the 31-Item Rhinosinusitis Outcome Measure

摘要

BACKGROUND: A measure of health related quality of life (QOL) is important in clinical outcome research. We translated and validated the Chinese version of the 31-item Rhinosinusitis Outcome Measure (CRSOM-31) because of the lack of rhinosinusitis-specific QOL questionnaire in Taiwan. METHODS: One hundred and eight patients with rhinosinusitis (RS) and 20 volunteers without RS were enrolled in this study. Twenty patients without clinical change within 2 weeks were re-tested. Fifty-one patients with RS received nasal irrigation and retested at 2 weeks and re-tested after treatment. The CRSOM-31 was validated to establish its reliability and validity. RESULTS: The median of total symptom-impact score of CRSOM-31 was 184.5 (7-493). The CRSOM-31 demonstrated good test-retest reliability (p<0.0001) and internal consistency (Cronbach's α=0.93). It also demonstrated good convergent and discriminate validity when it was analyzed with Spearman's rank correlation and knowngroups validity analysis. Fifty-one patients with RS were treated with nasal irrigation, the CRSOM-31 showed good response to clinical change (p<0.0001). CONCLUSION: In general, the CRSOM-31 is reliable and valid for measuring health related quality of life in Mandarin-speaking people with RS.
