超音波震盪水力儀器應用於超音波晶體乳化術

Application of Hydrosonics Instrument in Phacoemulsification

我們以超音波晶體乳化術施行於61位白內障病人,其中有10位病人,在使用晶體乳化術之前,以超音波震盪水力儀器先軟化白內障核;結果其所使用的超音波時間及累積能量(Cumulative displayed energy),在中度核硬化(nuclear sclerosis)的病人組中,較傳統使用人工水力切開、層裂術(manual hydrodissection & hydrodelineation)併晶體乳化術的為低。另外兩組的術後結果與併發症的比較上並無明顯差異。

HydroSonics instrument using an ultrasonically driven needle placed into the body of the nucleus, with subsequent injection of balanced salt solution (BSS), can be used to seperate the nucleus from the cortex (hydrodissection), to divide the nucleus into lamellae (hydrodelineation), and to fragment the nucleus into particles (hydrolysis) which can potentially be emulsified with greater ease and less ultrasound energy delivered to the eye. Our results in 10 patients using HydroSonics instrument indicated that less ultrasound time and cumulative displayed energy were noted in phacoemulsification of moderate grade cataracts than in other 51 cases in which only manual hydrodissection & hydrodelineation was performed. The results in cases performed with and without HydroSonics instrument were statistically equivalent in complications and postoperative patient outcomes.
