Why Confucians Shouldn't Be Old, Serious, and Conservative? - A Philosophical Reflection

Confucians are often regarded as old, serious and conservative, an image that it may influence the prevalence of Confucianism in a negative way. Therefore, clarification of the image of Confucians is important to the development of the thought. This short article argues that Confucians, theoretically, should not be old, serious and conservative. On the contrary, they should always be open-minded, humor-tolerant and mentally young.
