理性思維課程對於高等技職校院學生理性思維成長效益之實驗研究

The Effects of Reasoning Curriculum on the Reasoning Skills Achievement of Students in Vocational Education Program at the Higher Education Level

摘要


理性思維的培育一直是教育的重要內容,但是具體推動於實際教學卻不容易,尤其是在技職教育之中。然而隨著知識與技術的提升,理性思維對於科技起飛和人才培育的重要性再度受到重視。本研究之目的針對理性思維的教學活動,檢視其對於高等技職校院學生理性思維的成長效益。 本研究採用單一受試者準實驗研究,以標準化思維能力測驗、學生理性思維能力自我評量、以及理性思維態度自我評量等三方面,檢視學生的多元性發展效益。最後,實驗證實這一學期的理性思維課程使得三個研究假設均予成立,學生在理性思維能力與態度均顯著提升。 研究發現學生理性思維的發展可能受其文化背景和評量方式的影響;亦發現理性思維可能具有多元性的特質和複雜的內部結構。依據研究發現,最終本研究針對理性思維的教學活動與結構因素,提出綜合性的結論,並提出一些具體的建議。

The development of Reasoning Skills is recognized as a crucial goal in the educational field. However, it is never easy to teach these skills in school settings, particularly for students in vocational programs. The importance of Reasoning Skills improvement of students in vocational education programs has increasingly attracted broad attention owing to the explosion of knowledge and technology in the recent years. This study was conducted to identify the effects of Reasoning Skills curriculum on the enhancement of students’ Reasoning Skills achievement. A single-group quasi-experimental research design was employed using criterion-oriented assessment and students’ self-rating assessment. Significant effects were found on the improvement of students’ Reasoning Skills and deposition, after students received the 18-week innovative intervention. The multifarious characteristics of Reasoning Skills were also approved on the basis of data analysis. Finally, this study provided some suggestions on the teaching activities and assessment strategies for the improvement of these Skills.
