The purpose of this study was to investigate the curriculum leadership and predicaments of curriculum leadership perceived by vocational high school principals in curriculum changes. The study used the census survey method to collect data. All vocational high school principals in Taiwan received a Likert scales questionnaire for investigation. A total of return rate was 77.2%. According to the findings, the following are the proposed suggestions: 1.Vocational high schools principals should be given more flexible powers. 2.Curriculum changes should not follow the track of an overturned cart called 'teaching guided by entrance examination of further schooling'. 3.Principals selection system should not become the limitation of vocational high school management. 4.More efforts should be devoted to the disparity decrease between urban and rural areas. 5.More Studies should be undertaken to examine the curriculum leadership predicaments of high school principals.
