摘要

本研究主要是探討16位獨居住院老年男性心臓病患無力感來源和無力感情緒反應。採質性研究，運用訪談指引，引導個案說出面對心臓病和住院之無力感。在無力感來源中發現個案無法控制自己的身體症狀、無法得到親戚朋友及社會支持而無力、醫療政策無法配合病患食住行之自主權、對於疾病可能無法自我照顧而感無力、缺乏社會醫療資源和醫療照護決策無法參與而感無力。個案無力感負情緒反應有情緒不穩、害怕、生氣、焦慮和沮喪。

This study approaches the, powerless source and emotional reaction in single elderly hospitalized men with heart disease. Qualitative method was adopted. Interview quidelines were used so that clients were willing to express their powerless source in hospitalization. We find the powerlessness in the following situations: no control of the body’s symptoms; no control of setting adequate social support no control to match medical policies with their needs in eating、living、and walking; no control of self-care resulting from disease; no control of getting appopriate medical resources; no control of decision in medical system. Negative reactions to powerlessness are emotional unstability, fear, anger, anxiety and depression.
