大學護理學系“家庭護理”課程設計過程與評值

Design and Evaluation of a Family Nursing Curriculum for Baccalaureate Nursing Students

摘要


以家庭爲照顧中心一值是護理的一個重要概念,應用家庭理論概念已成爲現今護理課程核心之一,更是大學護理教育的特色。本文主旨是介紹成功大學護理學系“家庭護理”課程設計與實施後初步的評價結果。此課程設計的概念架構是以Torres及Stanton之“護理課程設計過程概念模式”爲主;用整合方式將家庭護理學課程融入各個護理學科與實習中,依不同課程學習階層規劃適宜的家庭護理學習活動。課程目標爲:學生能辨識家庭成員間的互動,運用相關的家庭理論知識,評估家庭個案的健康問題,並應用護理過程解決問題,或進一步的作轉介。初期評價結果顯示:於各學科內教授的家庭護理單元內容能與整個學系的內容圖相、課程的終極與階層目標相配合;然家庭護理單元在與各護理專科之連結上,仍需進一步的改善。此結果足以肯定施行家庭護理課程的必要性。

Nurses in clinical practice have addressed family needs in individual care plan for years, but the family as a unit of care has been the focus of health care only decades. However, there is neither clear consensus on the family care content, nor appropriate level in family nursing education program. The main purpose of this study was to present a family nursing curriculum design process and the outcome of this curriculum evaluation. The Conceptualization of the Curriculum Process done by Torres & Stanton (1985) was used as a curriculum development guideline in this study. Instead of putting all family nursing lectures in one semester as a credit course, the author graded all family nursing lectures, then integrated them into different nursing courses according to their levels. The results of this initial curriculum evaluation has indicated that the content of family nursing curriculum can fit into the content map and level objectives of school nursing. Even though the content of family nursing lectures need to be modified in order to meet the family needs of different illness, this family nursing curriculum design for baccalaureate nursing students is worthwhile to be continued.
