以疏水性觸媒催化合成乙酸乙酯之最適反應條件探討

Optimization of Reaction Conditions for the Conversion of Ethanol to Ethyl Acetate by a Hydrophobic Catalyst

摘要


本研究探討以疏水性觸媒催化合成乙酸乙酯之最適反應條件及實驗模式(Empirical Model)。應用單純形最適化方法(Simplex Optimization Method)經24次實驗,找出乙酸乙酯之最高產率為19.4%,醋酸之最高產率為29.2%。並應用偏最小二乘迴歸法(Partial Least Square, PLS)探討反應條件和乙酸乙酯、醋酸產率之實驗模式。由PLS的實驗模式及應用模糊邏輯方法解出乙酸乙酯最大產率時之操作變數:溫度95℃,空氣壓力520 psig,空氣流量50mL/min;此條件下之預測產率:乙酸乙酯22.7%,醋酸14.0%,水13.5%。以此反應條件進行實驗,結果乙酸乙酯產率20.8%、醋酸15.7%、水14.8%;與預測之結果相近。

There are four reaction variables in the study of the conversion of ethanol to ethyl acetate by a Pd oxidation catalyst supported on a hydrophobic carrier. By using sequential simplex method, the best reaction condition was found within 24 experiments. The maximum yield for ethyl acetate was found to be 19.4%. To further understand the influence of reaction conditions on yield of ethyl acetate, partial least square method was used to obtain the empirical model. The best reaction condition was estimated from these models. The actual experimental yield of ethyl acetate was found to be 20.8% which was close to the estimated yield of 22.7% under the best reaction condition.
