知識本體方法建構語意查詢系統－以故宮博物院為例

Ontology-Based Approach of Semantic Query System the National Palace Museum as a Case Study

摘要

查詢系統對於各類博物館之館藏物品管理具有重要地位。本研究以故宮博物院為研究對象，探討依字串及語意概念所建構查詢系統之主要差異。2002年世界美術館及博物館參觀人數前十大排名中，故宮博物院排名世界第六，參觀人數高達210萬人，可見其熱門。本文討論「知識本體觀點」之語意查詢系統架構，提出必須發展能使研究人員、管理人員、參觀民眾產生互動介面之語意查詢系統，才是具有創意之智慧型查詢系統。

Query system is significant to the information management of museums. This study aims at demonstrating major differences between Ontology-Based Semantic Query System and Keyword-Based Query System by making a case study of the National Palace Museum. According to a survey of the most popularly visited museums around the world in 2002, the National Palace Museum was ranked the sixth place with the number of visitors up to 2.1 million. Bringing the National Palace Museum into the focus of discussion, this article will analyze its model of the Ontology-Based Semantic Query System. This article proposes that an intelligent and creative query system must be able to provide an interactive interface for researchers, system managers, and visitors.
