摘要

本文將分別從理論及實作層面著手，探討大學圖書館的空間規劃及相關議題。首先，理論方面從闡述大學圖書館服務的專業核心價值為始，論及圖書館建築空間規劃的轉型並歸納規劃過程中常遭遇的挑戰。其次，實作經驗方面，以國立暨南國際大學圖書資訊大樓新建工程為例，介紹其地理條件、館舍規劃構想、建築理念、空間規劃配置並歸納館舍興建過程的各項評估與檢討，最後做出結論與建議。

From both theoretical and practical points of view, this article presents some important issues related to the planning and designing of academic library buildings. First of all, this study aims to explore the core values of academic library service and to indicate the current trends and challenges faced by academic libraries. Secondly, by examining the construction of the Library and Computer Center at National Chi-Nan University, this study introduces the ideas of planning and the internal arrangements of this recently completed academic library building. Finally, this article points out the implications involved in the process of planning and designing academic library buildings and provides some suggestions for future reference in this field.
