The Economic Development of Chiang-Hsi Area during Tang and Five Dynasties

Tang and Five Dynasties are the important period of Chiang-Hsi Area's economic development. Not only it's prosperity in agriculture, handicraft, and commerce but also its rapid growth in the population which made it the prominent source of tax revenue for the Tang Dynasty. The reason why I choose Chiang-Hsi area as my research subject is because it has both amazing economic development and cultural influence in the Tang and the following Sung Dynasty. No doubt, it was the finest region of Southeast China during that period of time.
