The society located in the area of Hubei and Hunan is typically immigrant. The people mostly came from Jiangxi province and completed their migration and settlement during the Ming and Qing period. In the process of agricultural development they came from conflict to integration and rebuilding of a stable, polycentric mutual embedded order. This form was another village type of order compared with north China and south China. In north China, it was political power as the center of a large community, and in south China, it was small communities oriented along blood lines as a link to clans.
