Recently, the general education has become one of the important curricula in all university but it seems still relatively vague about its curricular programming and effects. Perhaps, it is because the goal of the general education is over-expected so that individual teachers could hardly express their passion and fix their role play. In the article, the author would like to examine the practices of general education first and then proposed a social science curriculum-”globalization and indigenization” as an example of course design. Hopefully, it could cause more attention and do something to general education.
