This study analyzes the master science and technology of physical education teachers in higher education. The major concerns of this analysis anr (1)to examine the current progarams of physical education, (2) to prepare students for the new demand of physical education, (3) to explore human resources of physical education for a qualitative teaching, (4) to reinforce student’s ability and learning accomplishment, and (5) to concretize the excellency of physical education for meeting the demands of the upcoming social development. The result of this study indicates that few of physical education teachers are competent with both master science and technology, so that the current conditions and outcomes of physical education are unable to confront the challenges in the next era. Therefore, this study would suggest that higher physical education should further be strengthened, or even reformed, based on the deficiencies pointed in this study, such that students can enjoy a more qualitative physical education in the future.
