補充純氧對吸菸者肺功能、體能及血液生化值之影響

Effect of Pure Oxygen on the Pulmonary Function, Physical Fitness and Blood Biochemistry Value of the Smokers

摘要

Purpose: The study was to evaluate the pulmonary function, physical fitness and blood biochemistry value of smokers before and after pure oxygen exposure. Method: Thirty males volunteer were randomized to test group (15 males with a mean age 20.40±1.00years, height 173.67±4.12 cm, weight 70.87±6.98 kg, smoking experience 1.77±0.67 years, diary cigarette 10.80±4.00), and control group (15males with a mean age 20.20±0.80 years, height 173.73±4.59, weight 67.70±7.14, smoking experience 1.74±0.58 years, diary cigarette 10.77±3.89). The test items included pulmonary function: FVC, FEV1.0, FEV1.0/FVC, and PEFR; physical fitness: sit and reach, one minute sit-up and 3000 meters run-walk; blood biochemistry value: MDA, TG, cholesterol, glucose and CBC (complete blood count). After the pretest, the participants inhaled 100% oxygen for 30 minutes per day. Ongoing one month oxygen exposure duration, the posttest was took place. All the data were processed by SPSS for Windows 10.0 statistic software and ANCOVA. Result: No differences were found in age, height, and weight (p>.05) between two groups. Significant differences were found in FEV1.0/FVC, PEFR and 3000 meters run-walk between test and control group (p<.05). The data had shown no differences between two groups in CBC and biochemistry value. Conclusion: The pulmonary function and physical ability were improved in smokers after pure oxygen exposure. We concluded that oxygen exposure has the beneficial effect of smokers' physical fitness and pulmonary function.
