A Brief Review of the RT-PCR Techniques and the Expressions of Apoptosis Regulation Proteins Bcl-2 and Bax in Exercise

Bel-2 family is considered as the most crucial regulation protein in the process of apoptosis. It attempts to regulate the mitochondrial permeability transition pore by applying the contradicting movements between members (Bcl-2 and Bax) of the family. Furthermore, it will enable or hinder the cytochrome C to process a series of apoptosis regulation. The discussion briefly introduced the RT-PCR techniques and reviewed the related literatures. It detected the expression level of mRNA in Bcl-2 and Bax by applying the RT-PCR techniques, which enabled the researcher to monitor how exercises affected the apoptosis regulation proteins Bcl-2 and Bax from a monocular science point of view. It also elaborated what roles Bcl-2 and Bax played in cell protection mechanism and the expression discrepancy between Bcl-2 and Bax in different types of exercise models. This paper is hoped to eventually seek in depth acknowledgements of apoptosis phenomenon mechanism induced by exercises.
