Multiple Trichoepithelioma with the Entire Body Involvement-A Clinical Variant

摘要

毛髮上皮瘤為一不常見之良性皮膚腫瘤，肉眼下呈現粉紅及膚色之突起結節並朝向毛髮組織分化。臨床表現上可以以直徑小於二公分之單一腫瘤，或直徑零點二至零點八公分之多發性腫瘤來顯現。多發性腫瘤通常是對稱性分佈於臉部及頸部，特別是法令紋、鼻子、額頭、及耳前等部位。發生於頭頸部以外身體的其它部位非常少見，在此我們提出一例毛髮上皮瘤發生至全身的個案報告。

Trichoepithelioma is an uncommon benign tumor. It appears grossly as pink to flesh-colored and differentiates toward hair structure. Clinically, it may be a solitary tumor with size under 2 cm in diameter, or multiple smaller tumors with size from 2 to 8mm in diameter. Multiple tumors are usually symmetrically distributed and have a predilection for the midareas of the face, particularly the nasolabial folds, nose, forehead, and preauricular regions. Involvement of areas other than the head and neck is rarely seen. We report a case of trichoepithelioma involving almost the entire body.
