摘要

遊憩區之開發係利用自然景觀及文化資源，提供遊客遊憩機會及體驗，然隨著遊客對資源的利用，各種觀光相關行業伴隨而生。此一現象雖能增加就業機會，帶動地方繁榮，但當地的形貌亦隨之改變，社會經濟結構及文化被迫轉型，除了資源受到遊憩衝擊之外，當地居民受到觀光開發的影響，頗值得深入探討。
本研究之主要研究結果為居民對觀光發展抱持樂觀的態度，但生態環境之破壞與污染已發生。其因子分析結果簡化為九個因子，依次為：同意觀光開發對生態環境造成負面影響因子、同意觀光開發提昇生活素質因子、同意觀光開發增加就業機會因子、不同意觀光開發導致社會關係惡化因子、同意觀光開發造成所得影響因子、不同意觀光開發產生社會秩序紊亂因子、同意觀光開發帶動本地對外交通及房地產發展因子、不同意觀光服務業為最重要產業因子及同意未來觀光開發在資源利用及利益分配應善加規劃因子。

The primary purposes of the study are to investigate the attitude of Kwan-in Mountain Scenic Area's residents towards the tourism impact, and examine whether there exist significant differences in attitudes between residents with defferent personal characteristies. Personal interviews were conducted for every household in the area.
Themajor findings are the follows: 1. The destructionand pollution of ecological environment has already occured, even though local residents keep optimistic attitude towards the tourism development. 2. The results of factor analysis are simplified into nine factors. The residents agree with tourism development creating negative impacts on ecological environment, promoting the quality of life, increasing employment opportunities, creating positive effect on income, improve transportation system and real estate development, and careful planning and utilization of naturalresources in the future. However, they disagree with tourism development leading to deterioration of social relationship, and resulting in a chaos of social order, and tourism is the most important industry of the area.
