摘要

本研究旨在探討影響台灣國際觀光旅館業務委外決定的關鍵因素，以及台灣國際觀光旅館委外的現況及未來的傾向。研究－採質性研究，針對高階主管10位進行深度訪談，探討影響台灣旅館部分業務委外之因素、台灣旅館委外的阻礙問題、以及台灣旅館業務委外之發展趨勢。結果，顯示旅館委外考慮的主要因素包括：交易成本與企業資源。研究二採調查法，以研究一深度訪談的結果，編製問卷，針對台灣地區國際觀光旅館部門經理(主任)的主管為調查對象，主要瞭解台灣國際觀光旅館業務各部門委外的現況以及未來的可能，以及委外決策時考慮的因素，研究發現目前業務委外的比例仍偏低，未來會增加業務委外的可能；委外的決策主要考量「企業資源」，但「交易成本」並未顯著影響，未來有待進一步探究。

The purpose of this study is to examine factors affecting hotel outsourcing in Taiwan. Two studies were performed. In study 1, we conducted content analyses of senior hotel manager interviews to explore factors determining hotel outsourcing. These included jobs requiring capabilities and skills difficult to afford within limited hotel budget or resources; the hotel's resources and its business scale; transaction costs; and jobs with standard operating procedures. Study 2 used a questionnaire survey, and results showed that for international tourist hotels in Taiwan the current percentage of outsourcing and desired outsourcing is very low, indicating that strategic outsourcing has not received much attention among these hotels. The most outsourced hotel departments were housekeeping, security, maintenance, and information systems. The findings of study 2 also showed that only the hotel’s resources influence the decision process in outsourcing. The effect of predicting outsourcing was not significant for transaction costs. The results of this study provide insights on hotel outsourcing in Taiwan to both hotel management and outsourcing service providers.
