幾丁聚醣接枝於棉織物之抗菌研究

Antibacterial activity of cotton fabric grafted with chitosan

摘要


本研究係以不同分子量的幾丁聚醣,藉由檸檬酸將幾丁聚醣接枝至棉織物。探討不同濃度檸檬酸進行接枝反應後對棉織物表面的接枝率、物理性質及抗菌性之影響。實驗結果發現棉織物的硬挺度隨著檸檬酸濃度增加而提高,織物抗拉強度則隨之降低。棉織物經幾丁聚醣接枝後對金黃色葡萄球菌具有抗菌性。

In this study, we used different molecular weights chitosan, to graft chitosan onto cotton fabrics with citric acid. We researched the impact of cotton fabric surface by the graft ratio, the physical properties, and the antibacterial activity by processing graft reaction with the different concentrations of critic acid. The results showed us the stiffness of cotton fabrics was improved by increasing concentration of citric acid, but the tensile strength of cotton fabrics was decreased. Besides, by grafting chitosan onto cotton fabrics, the grafted cotton fabrics would be with antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus.
