The main continuation of this article is that we derive a learning skill model to measure the learning efficiency of Chinese as second langue teaching materials. Firs of all, based on theories of cognitive science and relative research topics, this article provides a robust evaluation rule to category and classify the corresponding exercise type form various language learning skills. Second, in order to demonstrate our model, the two most popular Chinese elementary textbooks and a Germany elementary textbook are used as illustrations in our evaluation model and proved that their exercises and practices are covered in which kind of language learning skill. Finally, we organize the relationships between learning skills and exercise types into a table form, and seriously hope that our work will play an advance role in edition of Chinese as second language teaching materials.
