摘要

精神科專業人員在面對精神病人時，常常是要相信病人是有實現的潛力，才能努力不懈的激發病人使其發揮最大功能。本篇文章的目的爲：探討各個諮商理論中的實現傾向的概念。諮商與實現傾向的共同意涵爲：促進個體的成長及發揮潛能，而本文試著連結這兩個概念，釐清實現傾向的起源及意義，並從諮商理論的角度去審視，諮商師促進個案實現的方式及個案的體驗，與實現傾向的內涵。希望本文能爲諮商理論中實現傾向的內涵做更具體的描述。

When the psychiatric clinical workers face the psychiatric patients, they always should believe that the patients have the actualizing tendency, and then they could do their best to make the patients developing the best function. The purpose of this paper was to explore the concept of the actualizing tendency from the counseling theory. The same meanings of counseling and the actualizing tendency were to stimulate the growth and potential. This paper aimed to correlate the two concepts to clarify the meaning of actualizing tendency, and to demonstrate how a counselor can stimulate actualizing tendency and explore the experiences of clients.
