一位口腔癌病患之護理－身體心像護理模式之應用
Nursing Care for a Patient with Oral Cancer-Application of Body Image Care Model

This case study described the nursing experience of an oral cancer patient with negative body image. Assessing with Price's Body Image Care Model, the author found that subject's perception about his body reality, body ideal, and body presentation was imbalance. In addition, the subject had negative self-image even after using personal coping strategies, social support network, and environment factor. After being provided with the intervention of prevention, supporting, education, counseling, and liaison with social support network and other agencies, the subject rebuilt positive self-image. This nursing experience is a reference for taking care of patients with body image problem.
