Yang Hu, a contemporary of Confucius and a countryman of Lu, was a man of great intellect. Yang Hu accomplished a great deal during his official career, yet few modern scholars recognize his achievements. This article intends to compare Yang Hu and Confucius, focusing on their careers and achievements.
