用CAL探討五專生學習與二次函數相關數學概念之研究

摘要

本研究主要以自行設計之電腦輔助學習軟體探討五專一年級不同程度的學生在學習二次函數相關問題上之迷思概念及學生學習本CAL之巡航類型、學習成就。以本校電機科一年級（兩班），依據一年級上學期數學平均成績分為高、中、低三組，從中分別各取二十名，共六十名分成實驗組（三十名）與控制組（三十名）為研究對象。對實驗組施以CAL軟體，控制組則否。研究結果顯示：(1)統計結果顯示實驗組和控制組之學習成效達顯著的差異，實驗組較控制組為佳(2)CAL教材之學習成效：高分組大於中分組、中分組大於低分組(3)CAL教材之學習成效：對於低分組來說確不具有顯著的差異(4)使用CAL學習時之巡航類型：多數巡航類型屬循序性(63%)，但在低分組則非循序性巡航類型較多(5)有一些共同迷思概念出現在與二次函數相關概念之學習上。

Computer-assisted learning (CAL) software of quadratic functions was designed in the research. Hypertext structure was used in the program. Sixty students were selected from first grade electrical engineering students at a private institute of technology according to their average mathematics scores. Twenty of them were in the upper rank, 20 of them were in the middle rank, and 20 in the lower rank. The students were divided into two groups. The experimental group learned quadratic functions using CAL, but the control group did not. The results of this study were as follows: 1. There was a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the control group (p＜0.01), with the experimental group achieving more; 2. The math achievement of the 10 students from the upper rank was higher than the 10 students from the middle rank, and the 10 students from the middle rank achieved higher than the 10 students from the lower rank in the experimental group; 3. There was no significant difference between the 10 students from the lower rank of the experimental group and the 10 students from the lower rank of the control group; 4. In navigational patterns, 63% students followed the proper sequence in CAL's learning process; 5. There were several common misconceptions in learning the relative concept of quadratic function.
