“學校本位”數學教學模組之發展與實踐-以國小四年級“重量”單元為例

摘要


本研究之主要目的在發展「學校本位」數學教學模組,並探究其在課室實施之可行性。本研究屬於個案研究,研究者透過與小學教師為期一年的合作,發展出一套以國小四年級學童為對象的「重量」教學模組,共包含三個活動單元,分別為「台灣的學生書包超重了」、「台灣的學生體重超重了」、「草湖農產特賣會」,涉及的數學活動有:重量的間接比較、以個別單位進行重量的比較與實測、認識公斤與公克的意義、使用以公斤為刻度單位的工具、以公斤與公克為單位進行實測與估測活動等,除了涵蓋與「重量」相關的數學概念之建構外,亦包含解題能力的培養,並強調數學與生活及其他領域的連結。文中最後亦針對發展模組之形式與流程、使用模組應注意之事項及實施模組前的準備與溝通提出幾項建議,以提供未來發展「學校本位」數學科教學模組之參考。

The purpose of this one-year case study was to document the development of a ”school-based” mathematics teaching modules on ”Weight”. Based on the ”OCTL” model, a practical teaching module for fourth grade was developed, named ”Weight”. The objectives of this ”Weight” module included constructing mathematical concepts related weight, developing problem solving abilities, and emphasizing the connections between mathematics and the daily lives of students. Both qualitative and quantitative research techniques, such as field notes, interviews, observations, document analysis, and surveys, were used to investigate responses of students while the module was being implemented in the cooperative teacher's mathematics class. These findings were useful for researchers to reflect on, and to modify, the design of the module. Suggestions are also presented for developing and using ”school-based” mathematics teaching modules.
