從大乘了義經典的觀點來看,一切有情本自具足圓滿覺性,只因一念不覺,而喪失本明。心的本來面貌為何?心有哪些特質?為何眾生會生起妄念?什麼是「妄」確切的意義?「妄念」與「覺悟」之間的關係為何?妄念的形成與衍生的結構或程序如何?妄念形成了怎樣的影響?妄念所形成將眾生困鎖的結構為何?憨山德清(1564~1623)為明末四大高僧之一,賅攝三教,博通內典;本文透過其著作,分析其對從「本明」到「迷妄」之論題的深刻闡述。
