Eyelid Metastasis of Parotid Carcinoma -A Case Report-
眼瞼之轉移性腮腺癌
摘要
一位58歲的男性病人，在1997年二月被發現罹患左側腮腺腫瘤併局部皮膚轉移，之後此病人接受了放射治療及化學治療。從1998年一月開始，病人的左眼瞼產生漸進性的紅腫及硬化，之後並擴及右眼瞼，皮膚切片發現為轉移性癌。眼瞼的轉移性癌相當罕見，本文討論其發生率，臨床及病理表現，治療，及其預後。

A 58-year-old patient was found of a metastatic carcinoma in the skin of the left postauricular area in February 1997, which was possibly derived from the left parotid cancer. He received radiotherapy thereafter. However, progressive erythematous change with swelling and induration began to be noted on the left eyelids in January 1998. The right eyelids were soon involved. Eyelid skin biopsy revealed a metastatic cancer. The incidence of the metastatic cancer of the eyelids is quite low. The relevant literature is reviewed and the incidence, clinical and pathological presentation, treatment and prognosis are discussed.
