摘要
一位68歲男性病人，主訴自覺於右側陰囊皮膚有一肉黃色軟突起達數十年之久。組織病理學檢查顯示表皮肥厚伴隨乳頭樣增殖，及真皮層有大量黃色瘤細胞浸潤。因而吾人診斷為疣狀黃色瘤。病人在施行腫瘤全切除後一年未有復發之跡象。本文將藉由文獻之回顧，討論此一疾病之臨床表現，病理致病機轉，及與其它疾病之鑑別診斷，並比較此疾病於東西方人種的差異。

A 68-year-old male patient presented with a yellowish soft nodule protruding from the skin of the scrotum for several decades. The histopathological study revealed acanthosis, papillomatosis and large amounts of xanthoma cells in the papillary dermis. The diagnosis of verruciform xanthoma was made. No recurrence was detected over a 1-year follow-up period. The clinical and pathologic features, differential diagnosis from other verruciform lesions, the current hypothesis about the pathogenetic mechanism, and the difference between orientals and white people were discussed.
