摘要

輝瑞藥廠的威而剛專利權在2012年即將結束，當沒有專利權的保護下，會有很多其他的藥廠會製造類似的壯陽藥物流傳於市場上。泌尿科醫師在面對大量的使用者的需求，可以扮演什麼協助的角色？本文的重點將集中於男人、他們的伴侶、威而剛、泌尿科醫師與性功能障礙的治療的四角互動關係的討論上，最後企圖與公衛學者質疑像威而剛這類的生活機能醫藥會造成健康照護的危害作一對話。本文的目的是希望讀者能理解性、威而剛、男子氣概之間的關係，使泌尿醫界更加貼近其服務的對象及其伴侶。共同為推動男性多元的「性」福而努力。

Pfizer's Viagra patent is coming to an end in 2012. When there is no patent protection, there will be many other pharmaceutical companies creating a similar impotence drugs circulating in the market. In the face of the demands from a large number of users, what assistance can urologists offer? This article will focus on the relationship among men, their partners, Viagra, urologists and treatment of sexual dysfunction, and finally attempt to discuss the views raised by the public health scholars who claim that Viagra as a lifestyle medicine would cause harm to health care system. The purpose of this paper is to explain the relations among sex, Viagra and masculinity to the readers, and hope the urologists can have a closer understanding of those whom they serve with an aim for a happier sexual life in diverse forms.
