本研究在探討臺灣南部某醫學中心120名口腔癌病人的照護需求及健康生活品質,希藉由此研究,能提升醫護照護品質。採橫斷面式研究法,由結構式問卷進行調查;問卷有:個人資料表、照護需求量表、台灣簡明版世界衛生組織生活品質問卷。本研究結果:病人以64歲以下的青壯年男性人口居多。病人的照護需求以關係需求為最大,心理情緒支持需求最為低;病人年齡與物質需求達顯著差異,疾病分期與照護相關協助需求有顯著差異。病人健康相關生活品質,以社會關係得分最高,心理得分最低。健康相關生活品質在年齡、教育、疾病分期達顯著差異。建議腫瘤個管師能了解及掌握病人在每個階段的調適情況,給予更適切的治療及幫助與支持。
This study provides an in-depth understanding of the care needs, symptoms and health quality of life of 120 oral cancer patients in the southern Taiwan medical center to raise the quality of patient care. This is a cross-sectional correlation study. Data was collected through structured questionnaire including personal data, care needs scale, WHO quality of life-brief in Taiwan. The study samples were male patients under 64 years old. The care needs were highest in the relationship demand domain and lowest in the mentality domain. There were significant age differences in care-related needs in the material needs and the stage of diseases domain. The health quality of life of patients was the highest in the social relationship and the lowest in the mentality domain. Significant differences in health quality of life existed in age, education levels, and stage of diseases. Tumor case managers should understand and handle the situations of patients in different disease stages, and should provide more appropriate treatments and supports.
