摘要


原索瘤的診斷相比過去單獨憑藉傳統病理切片,加入分子檢驗大大提升正確度,也提供未來治療的標靶,如原索瘤共同表現的brachyury基因等;儘管目前治療上仍以完整一次切除(en bloc resection)手術為主,但高精準度的質子束(proton beam radiotherapy)或帶電粒子治療(charged particle therapy)已成為新的治療方式,期待能達成盡量根除腫瘤並保留神經功能的目標。

Compared to traditional pathology biopsy, molecular biomarker has significantly increased the diagnostic accuracy of chordoma. On the other hand, it can be applied to treatment as target therapies. For example, the brachyury gene, which is commonly expressed in chordomas, could be a possible target in the future. Although en bloc resection is still the golden treatment standard, proton beam radiotherapy and charged particle therapy have become alternative choices, and are aiming for maximum tumor removal as well as minimal invasion for neurologic preservation.
