The purpose of this study is to propose the use of computerized tomography to enhance accuracy of localizing impacted tooth and assessment tooth morphology before treatment because using traditional X-ray images to diagnose maxillary anterior impacted teeth has its limitations. Two clinical cases of maxillary anterior impacted tooth were presented to show that computerized tomography digital images provided information which traditional images were unable to provide, especially in cases of the impacted tooth with abnormal morphology or complex spatial relations with adjacent structures. Computerized tomography digital images facilitate more accurate differential diagnosis, and influence the treatment plannings of impacted tooth.
