摘要
下顎骨聯合是決定臉部外觀的重要依據，它間接確定了下顎門牙的位置，對於診斷分析及治療計畫的擬定也是首要的考量之一。有鑒於此，本文藉由文獻回顧的方式依序探討下顎骨聯合先天的胚胎發育及生長、形態、矯正過程中牙齒移動的限制；並討論頦成形術、下顎頦部牽引骨生成術、牙周輔助加速成骨矯正治療對於意欲突破下顎骨聯合先天形態限制的成效。

Mandibular symphysis is the critical reference for facial profile and determines the lower incisor position indirectly. It also serves as the primary consideration for diagnosis and treatment plans. This essay reviews articles relevant to the embryology and growth, morphology of mandibular symphysis, and its restrain on orthodontic tooth movement of lower incisors. Discussion mainly focused on the effectiveness of genioplasty, mandibular symphysis distraction osteogenesis, periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics on mandibular symphysis, which may breach its limitation on range of orthodontic tooth movement.
