摘要


本篇論文主要描述身為教師媽媽的研究者,從面對問題、產生困惑到親身參與私立托兒所美術課程教學革新的歷程。全文以敘說故事與自我反省的方式陳述,道出幼教機構美術師資與美術教學品質缺乏的問題,呈現了幼教工作者在改革時所面對的現實環境與限制,更間接地突顯美術師資培育的現況。這是一個家長主動參與並嘗試改善幼教機構的真實故事,文中分析研究者多重角色在行動研究中所造成的影響與利弊,更表達了期許更多家長加入行動研究,為改善幼教品質盡力的心聲。研究者以行動研究的方式在不斷反省、探索與修正中,參與幼教機構美術課程改革,經歷了成長的起伏與苦樂。「沒有行動的研究,是空的理想;沒有研究的行動,是盲的活動」(蔡清田,2000,頁5)。本篇論文將讓您暸解一位教師媽媽如何在自身專業研究的基礎下,將理論與實務結合的理想加以嘗試,在不可掌控的情境下一再調整與修正;這個行動研究在戲劇性的變化下進展,在反省與檢視中運行。

This paper describes the evolution of an action research taken by a university teacher mother at a private preschool in Taiwan. In September 1999, the teacher mother sent her daughter to a private preschool and, since then, she found many problems regarding curriculum, art teacher education and preschool education. Through continued participation observation as a mother, a volunteer art teacher and an art curriculum advisor, this mother has taken actions to puzzle out questions regarding art curriculum. During the process of actions, the teacher mother faced the challenges of playing multiple roles in the preschool. This is a self-reflection and self-report story regarding the art curriculum reform which has happened in a private preschool from September 1999 to December 2000. This story tells the poor environment of art education in the private preschool, the challenges and limitations during curriculum reform and the team work among parent, administrator and teachers in a preschool.This is a real story about a parent of a preschool tried to improve preschool art curriculum. Based on professional methodology training and knowledge, the teacher mother tried to link curriculum theory and practice; however, under the limitation of human resources, she was forced to change action plans and adjust curriculum strategy. The action research has developed dramatically. Under the support of the principal, the participation of art teachers and the involvement of a enthusiastic parent, a series of actions of art curriculum reform at the private preschool have been taken. Children's education needs the collaboration between parents and teachers. In this story, the preschool art curriculum has evolved from continued actions promoted by the teacher mother.
